Expand your Horizons is a conference for girls in the 5th-9th grade. It focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). They have a conference once a year and this year’s conference is coming up Feb. 7th at Dane Smith Hall on the University of New Mexico Campus. There are a ton of really interesting panels! A group of women who work out of Ideas and Coffee are doing a panel on Wearable Electronics. It’s the second year for this group headed up by Alice Shriver to present at EYH and we’re looking forward to having lots of fun! If you have daughters in this age group who might be interested here’s a pointer to more information.
